Jeff Matherly - President and Founder

Jeff has more than 25 years of experience in a wide range of technology and consulting roles. With an extensive background in managing the design, development, integration and implementation of accounting, production control and financial database systems, his experience promotes a reasoned, prudent approach to delivery of our business technology solutions. Prior to founding MWare, Jeff was an independent consultant working in the areas of insurance, manufacturing and accounting systems.

Jeff's main recreation is restoring and cruising on his wooden motorsailer.

Harry Walden - CTO and Founder

Harry has been working in the computer industry since 1980. Throughout his career, he has witnessed the many changes in the way people perceive and use computers to access information. He has gained an enormous amount of experience and insight into how best to present information to end users with intuitive and novel interfaces.

Harry has done extensive work with abstracting business rules into the data layer for implementing data-driven and highly-customizable application systems. These systems are used in business applications as varied as inventory control, online fundraising, manufacturing QC and donor management.

Harry is fluent in ASP.Net, ASP, JavaScript, C#, VB, VBA, SQL, XML and HTML.

When Harry isn't developing web-based applications, you can find him teaching group exercise classes at the gym or playing on one of his many guitars.

Mike Irving - Web Developer/Application Specialist

Mike has a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology. However, since graduating from college, he has primarily concentrated more on the development side of the industry than the design side. Mike is fluent in ASP.NET, ASP, JavaScript, C#, SQL, XML, XSL, HTML and ActionScript.

Mike excels at listening to clients to determine the best and most efficient way to meet their goals. Mike welcomes a challenge and loves to be presented with issues which broaden his technical skills and knowledge.

When he’s not writing code, Mike can be found spending time with his wife and sons or sitting around a bonfire with friends.

Donna Collins - Business Analyst/Office Manager

Donna Collins brings over thirteen years of Human Resources, Information Systems, and project management experience to MWare from several nationally known organizations.

As an Assistant Vice President of HR Information Technology at Putnam Investments, Donna utilized her project management expertise and extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS to develop, design and implement HR systems. At KPMG Consulting, she served in several HR roles, covering recruiting, benefits administration and employee relations. Donna pairs her exceptional organizational and quantitative skills with process re-engineering and issue-resolution to deliver results.

She holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Eastern Nazarene College, and an M.B.A. in Management/Human Resources from Suffolk University.

In her free time Donna enjoys spending time with her two young boys. She has also worked in the health and fitness industry as a group fitness instructor for over seventeen years.

Gran Cranston – Applications Developer

Gran graduated from Suffolk University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in Management in 1990. He was on the dean's list and graduated magna cum laude. He worked for 16 years at a leading animal welfare organization as Hospital Supervisor and other management positions. His roles included client relations, emergency liaison, media relations, customer service, building/equipment maintenance, IT support, security and issue resolution as well as event management. He went on to performing payroll and customer relations roles at a national security company, and in 2009 joined the MWare team, where he provides client support and software development.

In his spare time he likes to fish, camp, and plays guitar and sings in his rock band.
